Greetings,
I am Jae-hong Kim, the chair of H2KOREA.
H2KOREA aims to contribute to the development of the hydrogen ecosystem in Korea, building a new future together as Korea becomes a global hydrogen leader.
In the midst of rapid changes of global economics and policy environment, our role and responsibilities will grow even larger than before.
The hydrogen industry in Korea requires greater change and innovation to shift to a new paradigm.
As the chair of H2KOREA, I will strive to achieve the following goals:
First, I will strengthen the global cooperation system and industrial competitiveness to lead Korea's hydrogen industry on a global scale.
I will enhance cooperation between the government, businesses, and academia and pull policy capacity together to optimizing the entire value chain, including hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and utilization. Furthermore, I will expand support for member companies to enter overseas markets, enabling them to secure competitiveness in the global hydrogen market.
Second, I will bolster the expertise of the H2KOREA and strive to reflect the voices of member companies in government policies.
To this end, I will further strengthen the expertise of H2KOREA's members of the workforce through talent acquisition and advanced training so that they can play a key role in the development of the hydrogen industry. I will also listen to the participation and opinions of member companies and actively engage in the government policy making and implementation process to further amplify the voice of H2KOREA.
Lastly, I will create H2KOREA that leads the change and innovation in the hydrogen industry.
H2KOREA will be a reliable partner for member companies to overcome the waves of crisis through change and innovation, sometimes as a strong collaborator and sometimes as a stern advisor. We will be by the side of member companies whenever they need us.
I will take the lead in creating a new future for H2KOREA.
